S-2 B-Fast Club! (Art History Applied)

Service Description

Please provide your child with a simple art journal for class. During the class, your child may be asked to bring in outside objects for them to add to projects. This is not required, it is just for fun. What a fun class this is! Art history is one amazing & marvelous beast, and applied art is another...so how do they go together? In this class, we look at art through a world lens to connect some of the dots on why, how and where things were happening all around the world simultaneously, and apply knowledge from the past to what we see in the art world today. Along the way, we pick out some of the coolest artistic ideas and recreate them in the classroom. This is a great class for your child to see and understand that the history of art and what we see around us go hand-in-hand. In each of our art classes, we create a respectful and caring space while we learn about the elements of art and principles of design, we use artistic language and learn about proper supply usage and how to take care of our creative space. 15 Weeks.
