S-1 3D Art/ Building It All!

Service Description

Please provide your student with a simple sketch journal for class, as well as 2 yards of 45" cotton fabric for the sewing section of the class. There may be times when your child may bring objects from home to add to or embellish their projects. This is not mandatory, just for fun. For the artist who loves to build, engineer, and construct...this class is for you. We will spend the semester diving into the world of building, tinkering, and creating while we learn the basics of sewing and how to build a pillowcase, how to work with air-dry clay in a variety of ways, make 3D art using plaster and a special time dedicated to Lego Create with a real Lego Master! (there is an additional $20 needed for this section of class please) In each of our art classes, we create a respectful and caring space while we learn about the elements of art and principles of design, we use artistic language and learn about proper supply usage and how to take care of our creative space. 15 Weeks. No Classes the week of November 25-29
