Learn to Sew Ages 8+ -
Thursday, April 11, 18, 25, 5/2 from 10-11:30
Sewing is a life skill, as well as a form of artistic expression. We find that the slow and gentle approach of patience, repetition, and practice is the key to understanding and enjoying this fun and useful skill. Machines, tools, and instructions are provided. I ask that you send your child to classes 2-4 with 3 yards of cotton fabric. Your student is welcome to bring their own machine to class, or one will be provided. Some classes may include a more in-depth look at sewing, alterations, and mending depending on the level of the students. In each class, we learn machine basics, machine troubleshooting, how to read a pattern and the construction of finished pieces. Each student will finish a pin cushion, tote bag, and skirt or lounge pants.
We totally get it...life happens and sometimes plans change. Due to the nature of being a small business, we cannot issue a refund for a booking but would be happy to reschedule your time in a different class or event. Thank you for understanding and we hope you have a great day.
